The ACJJ is Arkansas' State Advisory Group for juvenile justice and delinquency prevention issues. Its commitments are: To prevent young people from making life choices that might encourage them to become adult criminals; and to strengthen the effectiveness of juvenile justice.

OJJDP finds state out of compliance
with DSO, Jail Removal provisions

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention in the U.S. Department of Justice has notified the Division of Youth Services and the Arkansas Coalition for Juvenile Justice that the state is out of compliance with two provisions of the JJDP Act of 2002.
